Creating and Editing Roles

Login using Admin credentials.


On the Admin Menu at the top of the screen, select Access and Roles.


Select the Roles tab at the top.


To create a new Role, select the Create a New Role button. To view the properties of an existing role, select the Details button of a specific role on the list. To edit an existing role, select the Edit button of a specific role on the list.


On the Create / Edit Role screen, a name for the role must be provided. Additionally, a description with more details about the role can be inputted. Finally, the Object Escort Permissions that are to be part of that role must be selected. Available permissions are in the left box, and selected permissions are in the right. All selected object permissions will be part of the created role, and any identity with this role have access to all of those selected objects.
